Drug Facts

Active ingredient (in each 5 mL = 1 teaspoonful)………………….………..................................Purpose

Aluminum Hydroxide 200 mg……………………………………………………………………………..Antacid

Magnesium Hydroxide 200 mg…………………………………………………………………………...Antacid

For the relief of:

• acid indigestion
• heartburn
• sour stomach
• upset stomach due to these symptoms

Do not take more than 16 teaspoonfuls in a 24-hour period or use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks except under the advice and supervision of a physician.

Ask a doctor before use if you have

• kidney disease
• a magnesium-restricted diet

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are

• presently taking a prescription drug. Antacids may interact with certain prescription drugs.

Stop use and ask a doctor if

• symptoms last more than 2 weeks

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Age	Dose
adults and children 12 years of age and older	take 2 to 4 teaspoonfuls four times a day or as directed by a physician
children under 12 years of age	consult a physician

• each teaspoonful (5 mL) contains: magnesium 200 mg, sodium < 1mg
• store at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F)
• Avoid freezing
• Alumag ^TM is a milky-white mint flavored suspension supplied in the following oral dosage forms:

NDC 81033-005-30: 30 mL unit-dose cup
NDC 81033-005-01: Case containing 100 unit-dose cups of 30 mL each.
