Active ingredient

Povidone-iodine 10%

Purpose

Antiseptic, First Aid Antiseptic

Uses
  • For preparation of the skin prior to surgery.
  • Helps reduce bacteria that potentially can cause skin infection.
  • First aid to help reduce the risk of skin infection in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns.
Warnings

For external use only

Do not use

  • In the eyes or apply over large areas of the body. In case of deep or puncture wounds, animal bites, or serious burns, consult a doctor.

Stop use and ask a doctor if

  • condition persists or gets worse. Do not use longer than 1 week unless directed by a doctor.
  • irritation and redness develop.
  • if conditions persists for more than 72 hours.

Keep out of reach of children.

If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away

Directions
  • Patient Preperative Skin Preparation: Clean the area. Apply product to the operative site prior to sugery.
  • First Aid:Clean the affected area. Apply a small amount of this product on the area 1 to 3 times daily. May be covered with a sterile bandage. If bandaged, let dry first. 
Other information
  • Protect from freezing. Avoid excessive heat. Store at room temperature
  • Not made with natural rubber latex. For hospital and professional use only.
