Povidone-iodine 10%
Purpose
Antiseptic, First Aid Antiseptic
Uses
- For preparation of the skin prior to surgery.
- Helps reduce bacteria that potentially can cause skin infection.
- First aid to help reduce the risk of skin infection in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns.
Warnings
For external use only
Do not use
- In the eyes or apply over large areas of the body. In case of deep or puncture wounds, animal bites, or serious burns, consult a doctor.
Stop use and ask a doctor if
- condition persists or gets worse. Do not use longer than 1 week unless directed by a doctor.
- irritation and redness develop.
- if conditions persists for more than 72 hours.
Keep out of reach of children.
If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away
Directions
- Patient Preperative Skin Preparation: Clean the area. Apply product to the operative site prior to sugery.
- First Aid:Clean the affected area. Apply a small amount of this product on the area 1 to 3 times daily. May be covered with a sterile bandage. If bandaged, let dry first.

- Protect from freezing. Avoid excessive heat. Store at room temperature
- Not made with natural rubber latex. For hospital and professional use only.
