Drug Facts

Active Ingredient (in each 15 mL)

Sennosides 25 mg

Purpose

Laxative

• ▪relieves occasional constipation (irregularity)
• ▪generally produces bowel movement in 6-12 hours

Do not use without consulting a doctor:

• ▪when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present
• ▪If there has been a sudden change in child’s bowel movement that persists over 2 weeks
• ▪For a period longer than 1 week
• ▪If pregnant or nursing a baby

Stop use and ask a doctor if

you have rectal bleeding or fail to have a bowel movement after use.

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away at 1-800-222-1222.

Age	Dose
Adults and children 12 years of age and over	15-30 mL up to 2 times a day
Children under 12 years of age	Consult a physician

• ▪ each 15 mL contains: sodium 42 mg
• ▪ask a doctor before use if you have a sodium restricted diet.
• ▪store at room temperature
